Often referred to as the designers’, Saladino timeless work continues his philosophy of mixing “old with new” and appeals to both traditional and modern clients. His full maturity as an artist and a master of scale blends easily with his historical references.

One of John Saladino projects is a Manhattan Apartment. The owners of the residence are the designer’s friends, Tina and Jeffrey Bolton. Before this project, the designer decorated other property of the Boltons, a country house which was decorated in a warm, inviting and casual style. The Manhattan Apartment’s style is different and it reflects characteristic style of John Saladino, the old-world artistry and the luxurious minimalism.

John Saladino says he approaches a room artistically, seeing its contents as a series of geometric shapes to be gathered into a serenely balanced composition he calls “a walk-in still life.” One of Saladino leitmotifs is monochromatic upholstery lushly quilted into channels, diamonds, or grids. Several of his products, notably the cylindrical glass Saladino lamp and the asymmetrical Santa Barbara sofa, are now icons. At Home Decor Ideas we are totally surrendered to his work, what about you?
