Fort Lauderdale’s sunny legacy gets revamped with a shot of urban style with a luxury hotel, The Dalmar. A modern design that reshapes the city’s skyline, this luxury hotel is a unique and edgy retreat for design lovers and trendsetters alike.
With visitors especially attracted to beachy views and tropical vibes, the obvious location for this luxury hotel had to be the up-and-coming Flagler Village in downtown Fort Lauderdale, just minutes away from the beach. Taking up the 6th-25th floors of a corner block designed by SOL-ARCH, the 209-room hotel is the work of DesignAgency.
On the contrary of what one may think, with just an outside look, within lie seamless infinite spaces that unfold in a sequence of luxury bedrooms, each one bathing in natural light and stylish design.
The relaxed but subtle luxury vibe is enhanced by a retro mood of low slung couches flanked by copious stands of leafy pots, trendy white terrazzo, breeze-blocked and jade quartzite walls, and tropical motifs that embellish the upholstery. The bedrooms meanwhile are calm cocoons lined with broad-planked timber floors and slender Mid-Century-inspired furniture.
The finishing touches on the interior design of this luxury hotel are the modern art featured throughout the space. The pops of colour that the art pieces give to the overall design really bring it all together.
