Frank Gehry’s IAC Building in New York was the stage of the most important awards ceremony of the interior design world. The design industry’s best and brightest turned out in masse on December 4th night to celebrate Interior Design’s 9th annual Best of Year Awards.
The panel considered that were three brands that stood out in the category Beds. Let’s find out here who was distinguished.
Sinuous in form, yet bold in character, The 105 Bed embodies the convergence of comfort and style. Playing upon the simple notion that 105 degrees is the perfect reclining angle, this inviting piece is optimized for complete relaxation in the bedroom. Artisan crafted in the United States from welded mild steel, still one of the greenest materials, with a multitude of powder coat finishes and fabric inserts available, including the tufted velvet pictured, the 105 Bed is infinitely configurable.
The Kali Duo Sofa takes the cake on the phrase “double duty”. When open, the bunk beds fold out and hide the sofa underneath. Closing the system reveals the sofa as the bunk beds fold back seamlessly into the wall. This bunk bed system boasts exceptional safety features, including a locking mechanism and a complete barrier around the top bunk. The Kali Duo Sofa is the latest addition to the collection of innovative space saving wall bed systems designed and manufactured in Italy by Clei.
And the winner was…
