Sad as the ‘world’s first’, a 27 meter-long glass bottomed swimming pool is set to be installed at nine elms, a riverside district under construction in South London. Today we talk about Hal Architects.
Hal Architects is a design focused Architectural and Town Planning practice recognised for continued success in achieving high quality designs.
Suspended in ten stores above the ground, the pool will bridge two apartment buildings making it possible to swim between the two structures. Dare you to swim here?? The areas of greenery occupy the scheme’s lower levels. The final result is completely stunning and breathtaking!
The pool forms part of the ‘embassy gardens legacy buildings’ and it is a project commissioned by the developers ballymore who selected the team of HAL architects to work alongside Arup associates as engineers, Camlins as landscapers and Luis Bustamante to work on the scheme’s interiors architecture.
The buildings will start on site in this summer of 2015 with the first completions due in next two years, in 2017.
