Hotel Roomers Munich by Concrete
Created by the visionaries of Gekko Group, which specializes in the hotel industry and gastronomy, the hotel interior design project was planned by Concrete, based in Amsterdam. Its contemporary and urban aesthetic was achieved thanks to the juxtaposition of natural and rich materials such as wood, leather, and marble that contrast with polished copper in public spaces. The 281 rooms and suites design give the feeling of being in a boutique hotel with a singular contemporary decor that combined modern furniture design with works of art.

The Munich district of Nymphenburg is characterized by representative residential buildings from the Wilhelminian era and Art Nouveau. With reference to the loose building structure found with detached houses in Tizianstrasse, a residential building was created to fit into Nymphenburg’s building tradition in terms of scale, materiality, and facade structure. With its classically timeless appearance, this interior design project creates a balance between the existing neighborhood and the individual demands of the residents. The result is a pleasant house complex.

Located in a heritage-listed corner location of the high-end shopping district on Maximilianstraße, the MYKITA Shop Munich presents the clear design language and handcrafted eyewear collections in a welcoming atmosphere where historical elements meet one-off furnishings and modern accents. Stephanie Thatenhorst was able to restore the beautiful façade of the historical building from 1881, oversized arched windows and doorways continue to set a grand tone for the shop interior followed up by the use of high-end materials, including marble surfaces, bronze mirrors, glass lights, and custom-built furniture pieces.
Nymphenburg Residence P6 Munich by Silvestrin Design
The task of this unique interior design project was to equip a new guest house. The intimate domicile in a more than 200-year-old cavalier house in the Nymphenburg Palace Rondell combines the amenities of a five-star hotel with the flair of a private palace from the 18th century – and the aura of the objects that were made in the porcelain factory for this ambiance.
