Hallways usually don’t have enough space to invest in expensive and exquisite furniture and the solution is to use beautiful lamps if you want to impress in this regular space. Nowadays you have so many possibilities of Hallway lighting. You can choose a big variety of lamps but first you should think about the width of the hallway and if the ceiling is low or high.

Then you should think about how you should dress up this space. If you want to add a serie of light fixtures down a long hallway, try small light fixtures like the example below:

Also what is really nice in this project is the big skylight at the end, it gives a very good and strong impact contrasting with the small lights at the beggining.

This is a good example for big hallways with high ceilings. You can impress with a good combination of pendant lights in a room like this. You don’t need to have so many pendant lamps, it depends the square meters you have, try to separate each other measuring the distance between light shades.

This is an open hallway that finishes with the entrance of the dining room. You can see a big, bold and modern chandelier at the end. So in this case, the solution is to opt by simple floor lamps that wouldn’t shock with the bold lamp. These floor lamps should have some similarity with the chandelier but don’t use something very strong because it will ruin the simplicity of the area.

This is a very classic and bold room, the red curtains are the vivacity that this room needs. Repare the simple wall sconces hidden between the curtains, the patterns also mix themselves.

What I most appreciate in this project is the mix betwen modern, classic, almost empire style. The ceiling lamp is a truly piece of art.

A good solution for small hallways with low ceilings is to use wall fixtures. Those in ceramic are a very good solution for spaces with bright colors.

Last but not least, my favorite combination. A small hallway that shines itself, the ceiling lamps are bold and beautiful but they have very simple shapes, also they look perfect with all the shapes of this room and the next one, the dining area.
